Balance of Body and  Mind

Get to know the gentle healing methods of traditional Chinese medicine.
Traditional Chinese medicine not only treats individual physical symptoms, but looks at the human being as a whole. Body and mind should be in harmony. An imbalance can cause symptoms that can be treated using various methods such as acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion (heat therapy with mugwort) or Chinese herbal medicine.

Acupuncture

In acupuncture, thin disposable needles are used.
They are inserted at various acupuncture points on the body, whereby the Qi, i.e. the body's energy, is regulated and harmonized.

Since the needles are very thin, these punctures are hardly noticeable and usually remain in the body for 20-30 minutes so that the acupuncture can take full effect.

During the acupuncture treatment, body and mind are relaxed and brought into balance, and often times a pleasant serenity remains after a treatment.

Moxibustion/Moxa

Moxibustion is the heating of acupuncture points by burning mugwort.
Blockages in the flow of energy are released by this heat, energetic coldness is expelled, pain is alleviated and energy is tonified.

Moxa can also be used during birth preparation if the baby is in a breech position. This gently stimulates it to turn into the cranial position.

Cupping

Cupping uses glass cups, in which a vacuum is created. This causes them to adhere to the skin, thus relieving pain, stimulating blood circulation and releasing blockages in the flow of energy.

Influences that promonte illness, such as wind, cold, heat or dampness, which can manifest themselves in the form of colds, rheumatic complaints or muscular tension, are eliminated by cupping.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

In Chinese medicine, herbs are an important component. The medicinal plants and mineral substances used have been applied for thousands of years to support the body.
Plant parts such as roots or flowers, but also ingredients such as amber or shells are used. The individual herbs are approved by Swissmedic and have been checked for pesticides, heavy metals and other impurities.

I prescribe Chinese herbs as a tincture or granules, which I individually compose for you.
